I bouht a print of this masterpiece years ago at an art studio in the North End of Boston. The reason?....the woman with the red hair is a spitting image of my mother Nina, and the ladies with her....wow, my two grandmothers one walking with the red head and the other walking behind...it is truly unbelievable.....so it has a special meaning to me since they have all passed, they are in a sense together ..by the sea!

I love this painting, it speaks volumes.
